Job summary

Tailwind Group in Miami, Florida is seeking a part-time Community Assistant to generate new leases and renewals, conduct tours, and support day-to-day office operations for a high-rise student housing community. The role requires welcoming prospects, providing excellent customer service, and representing the property both on and off campus to meet occupancy goals.

It is an in-office position with a minimum of 12 hours per week and rotating nights/weekends, with compensation at $15.25/hr plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years in customer service, sales or retail preferred.
• Current enrollment at local university and resident status highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents and prospects.
• Maintain curb appeal and keep tours paths, model unit and amenities tidy.
• Serve as first contact for prospective residents and conduct property tours.
• Present leasing options and answer questions about community features.
• Maintain follow-up communications with prospects to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing traffic through on-campus outreach and peer networking.
• Plan and execute resident events, move-ins, and community activities.
• Support after-hours lockouts when assigned.
• Represent the property positively on and off campus.
• Provide first-level support and resolutions for residents and guarantors.
• Assist in turnover and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Work turnover period, including nights and weekends.
