Job summary

Tailwind Group is seeking a part-time Community Assistant to generate new leases and renewals through peer engagement and excellent customer service. You will conduct tours, engage prospective residents, and support day-to-day office operations at The Quarters Gainesville in Florida.

The role is onsite with a variable schedule (not to exceed 29.5 hours/week), including rotating nights and weekends. Compensation is $15.00 per hour plus commission potential, with market-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service/sales/retail experience preferred.
• Current enrollment at local university and resident status are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and community members.
• Conduct property and unit tours, present leasing options, and answer questions about amenities.
• Maintain follow-up with prospects via phone, text, and email to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing traffic through on‑campus outreach and peer networking.
• Support move‑ins, events, and turnover activities including after‑hours lockouts.
• Open/close office and model units following property standards.
