Job summary

Harvey Mudd College is seeking a Technical Analyst to join the Computing and Information Services team. The role provides on-campus AV support, hardware and software assistance, and front-line help desk services to faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting requests, staffing Help Desk/AV events, and developing end-user guides while staying current with OS and campus applications such as Canvas and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Any combination of post-secondary education, training and experience that provide the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for campus computers, software, printers, AV systems, and on campus events.
• Document support requests in the CIS ticket system.
• Staff the on campus Help Desk and AV events.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and AV issues and research solutions.
• Develop documentation for end-users and for internal CIS purposes.
• Support and maintain on campus lab computers and software.
