Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship as Stationary Engineer or 6+ years of boiler operation experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Indiana Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor natural gas fired boilers and related equipment on a 3rd shift schedule.
• Record readings, maintain logs, and follow EPA/OSHA regulations and plant procedures.
• Perform maintenance on steam distribution, pumps, valves, and associated systems.
• Replace boiler refractory, assist with water treatment and chemical handling per safety rules.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety protocols at all times.
