Job summary

Chapman University in Orange, CA seeks a Global Education Advisor to support recruitment, pre-departure, while-abroad, and re-entry phases of education abroad opportunities for Chapman students. You will advise on programs including semester abroad, faculty-led, and international internships.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Global Education, you will work with the Center for Global Education to implement marketing strategies, coordinate events, and maintain student records in Terra Dotta.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in international education, advising, or student services.
Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
Commitment to working with students from diverse and underrepresented populations.

Responsibilities

Advise students on outbound education abroad programs, locations, processes, and credits.
Coordinate campus events and information sessions related to education abroad.
Maintain accurate student records in Terra Dotta Software.
Develop strategies to increase participation from underrepresented student populations.
Support risk management and emergency response for students abroad.
Provide guidance on immigration documentation, housing, and course registration.
Coordinate course selection and registration for incoming students with academic departments.
