Job summary

Dallas College seeks experienced faculty to teach assigned dual credit classes on campus. You will maintain office hours for student consultation and ensure courses align with descriptions and outcomes.

Faculty are expected to follow institutional policies, deliver effective instruction, and comply with state standards. On-campus presence is required; some hybrid arrangements may be considered after six months based on duties and policy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in the teaching discipline or a Master’s with concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate hours).
• One year of demonstrated teaching experience required.
• Official transcript will be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in assigned classes following course descriptions, outcomes, syllabus, and policies.
• Provide a syllabus with objectives, materials, and evaluation methods.
• Maintain a workload schedule with teaching and office hours.
• Certify attendance by deadlines and keep accurate course records.
• Submit final grades by deadlines and communicate feedback promptly.
• Develop curriculum and instructional materials, individually or with others.
• Use diverse methods to reach diverse student populations and improve delivery.
• Assess student learning regularly and participate in program reviews and assessments.
