Job summary

Dallas College is seeking qualified faculty to teach in our on-campus environment. Faculty are expected to deliver courses in accordance with approved descriptions, maintain records, and participate in ongoing assessment and service to the college.

After six months, some positions may be eligible for a hybrid schedule based on responsibilities and policy; on-campus presence is required for academic roles under state law. A strong teaching record and a master's or higher are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in the teaching discipline
• Official transcript required
• One year teaching experience required
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach students in assigned classes in accordance with course outcomes and policies.
• Provide syllabus with objectives, materials, and evaluation methods.
• Maintain course records and submit final grades on deadlines.
• Develop curriculum and instructional materials, diversify delivery to reach diverse learners.
• Participate in assessment activities at department and college levels.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and engage students.
