Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree or higher with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• One year of demonstrated teaching experience required.
• Official transcript will be required.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
• Will be subject to a criminal background check. Some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in assigned classes in accordance with course descriptions and learning outcomes.
• Provide students with a syllabus including required institutional policies, course objectives, materials, and methods of evaluation.
• Maintain workload schedule showing teaching and office hours.
• Certify student attendance by deadlines and maintain course records.
• Submit final grades by deadlines and provide timely feedback to students.
• Develop course curriculum and instructional materials.
• Use diverse communities to diversify teaching methods and delivery of content.
