Job summary

Wilson Community College seeks a dynamic Lead CCR Instructor and Advisor to deliver and coordinate CCR programs including ABE, HiSET, Adult High School, and ESL. This full-time role focuses on high-quality instruction, student progress tracking, and compliance with state and federal requirements.

The successful candidate will onboard and advise students, promote CCR programs, support retention and enrollment in IET, and teach day and evening classes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college.
• Prior experience teaching, facilitating workshops, training, or counseling adults.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 25 contact hours each week.
• Provide high-quality instruction in CCR programs using varied methods and technologies.
• Advise and support students through onboarding, retention, and goal attainment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and maintain accurate records.
