Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette/Crawfordsville, IN seeks adjunct faculty for on‑going pool of qualified candidates to teach business courses as needed. Roles are part‑time, temporary, with responsibilities including syllabus creation, instruction, and assessment within standard IvyLearn/Canvas and office tools.

Selected candidates undergo pre‑employment background checks and may teach day, evening or Saturday classes on campus.

Qualifications

• Earned masters or higher in business administration, public administration, management, marketing or related field.
• Related masters with 18 semester hours in business administration or related area.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two of: cert, two years of in-field work, teaching excellence, research/publication, or relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and create a syllabus aligned with course requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available outside class time to assist students and coordinate with program staff.
• Meet on-campus classes in Lafayette or Crawfordsville, and use IvyLearn/Canvas and Office tools as needed.
