Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach on-campus courses in Lafayette or Crawfordsville, IN. Positions are part-time, temporary, and posted to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings.

Instructors will use Canvas and other technologies, create syllabi, assess students, and maintain attendance records in line with college policies. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and be prepared to provide flexible scheduling; the college emphasizes commitment

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 as applicable to the specific area of instruction.
• Ability to teach weekly on-campus courses in Lafayette or Crawfordsville, IN.

Responsibilities

• Teach all scheduled classes of contracted course(s).
• Prepare syllabus appropriate to course(s) taught and follow provided syllabi requirements.
• Maintain student attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions and provide assistance.
