Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks adjunct faculty to teach assigned courses in Lafayette or Crawfordsville, IN. The position is temporary, part-time and filled as needed each semester to build a candidate pool.

Faculty will create learning environments, provide effective instruction and assessment per the syllabus framework, and support students outside class time. Background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree or higher in a related field with focus in business administration or related areas.
• Related master’s degree with 18 semester hours in business administration, public administration, management, marketing, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, management, marketing, or related field with documented additional qualifications in two or more areas.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and provide syllabus appropriate to the course being taught.
• Maintain attendance and grading records according to College policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to assist and address concerns.
• Teach weekly on-campus courses in Lafayette or Crawfordsville, Indiana.
• Use technology such as IvyLearn (Canvas) and Microsoft Office Suite as appropriate.
• Ensure credentials align with ASOM 7.1 for the specific instructional area.
• Participate in program operation and record-keeping as required.

Education
