Job summary

The Winery Dishwasher at Biltmore will be responsible for collecting, washing, distributing, and storing dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining kitchen sanitation. The job measures success by guest satisfaction, cleanliness, organization, and timely service.

This is a flexible, on-call Reserve position (40-999 hours/year) based on business needs and volume. It requires adherence to safety standards and teamwork within the Biltmore hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Ideal candidate will have held similar position in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest service environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and store all dishes, glassware, and silverware properly.
• Clean sink, dishwasher, and kitchen area after every shift.
• Keep tasting room counters stocked with clean glasses.
• Sweep and mop floors daily.
• Help maintain the dish-washing machine.
• Empty all garbage and clean cans at end of shift.
• Assist in daily cleaning of all food/beverage areas as instructed.
• Assist others in receiving and storing items.
