Job summary

SUNBURY COMMONS is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician responsible for make-ready repairs on vacant units prior to move-in. The technician reports to the Service Manager and HVAC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities include responding to 24-hour on-call paging, assisting with repairs, inventory control, and routine inspections. Duties may extend to snow situations and site transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC skills; CFC certification preferred
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills are required or beneficial
• SDS and OSHA knowledge is expected
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred but not required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner
• Be on 24-hour on-call, respond to paging as scheduled
• Assist the Service Manager, Housekeeper, Grounds personnel as needed
• Maintain inventory control and proper use of maintenance materials
• Inspect property for improvements and report to Service Manager
• Process work orders with same-day completion mindset
• Keep maintenance shop clean and organized
• Be available for night/weekend work and possible transfer to another site
