Job summary

City of Cincinnati seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead a functional work group in wastewater/stormwater operations. You will plan, prioritize, and schedule work, set KPIs, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement while upholding city policies and safety standards.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, budget oversight, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across departments and agencies. On-call readiness is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Seven (7) years of experience in wastewater collection, stormwater systems, or utility infrastructure operations, with at least two (2) years in a leadership role.
• A valid Ohio Driver's License required; on-call rotation participation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization, staffing and operational activities for the assigned program.
• Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities; review and adjust procedures.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and resource needs; prepare regular budgets.
• Serve in an On-Call status for emergency responses and coordinate with external agencies.
