Job summary

The City of Naples is seeking a Wastewater Collection Supervisor to oversee operations, maintenance, and repair of the sewer and reclaimed water systems. You will provide supervisory, technical, and administrative guidance to crews, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities include planning TV inspections, coordinating manpower, budget monitoring, on-site training, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Wastewater Collection Class A certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Five years lead-level underground maintenance and repair experience including TV inspection and lift station management.
• Valid CDL Class A with tanker and air brakes endorsements or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Driving record meeting City standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field activities for wastewater collections and reclaimed water systems.
• Plan TV underground inspections and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate manpower, scheduling and crew assignments.
• Investigate accidents and customer concerns; ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; manage supplies and expenditures.
• Provide on-site training and repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety training and certifications for crews.
• Inspect equipment, inventory, and vehicle usage; manage records.
• Review reports and payroll data for personnel.
• Respond to emergencies and operate as on-call personnel.
