Job summary

City of Cincinnati seeks a qualified supervisor to manage a functional work group within the Department of Sewers or the Stormwater Management Utility. The role focuses on planning, prioritization, scheduling, and KPI measurement to meet departmental goals.

The position emphasizes leadership, staff development, and continuous process improvements while coordinating with other divisions and external agencies to ensure reliable wastewater and stormwater operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Seven (7) years of experience in wastewater collection, stormwater systems, or utility infrastructure operations, with at least two (2) years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organization and staffing for the assigned program.
• Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and priorities; recommend improvements.
• Direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for assigned services and activities.
• Trains, coaches, and mentors personnel; administer budgets and monitor expenditures.
