Job summary

Around the Sound Transportation is hiring drivers in Washington state to transport patients and clients using wheelchair-accessible vans, buses, or sedans. This role covers non-emergency medical transport, ADA paratransit, fixed-route services, shuttle runs, cot and stretcher trips, and rides with children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT drug screening.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Ability to assist with securing clients in wheelchairs or other devices.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with dispatch.
• Utilize a smartphone for job functions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Transport clients safely using a company vehicle.
• Participate in rotational on-call duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
