Job summary

Monmouth University is seeking On-Call Nurse Practitioners for its Health Center in West Long Branch, NJ. This on-site, part-time role requires NP licensure in NJ and the ability to assess, diagnose and treat illnesses in ambulatory care under Joint Protocols.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, CLIA-waived testing, ordered diagnostics, immunizations, and women’s health services. The position may involve on-call work during semesters with no weekends unless required.

Qualifications

• MSN required and NJ RN license; APN licensure in NJ.
• Ambulatory clinical experience with adolescent/adult populations.
• Ability to diagnose, prescribe for common acute illness under NJ APN scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients at the Health Center.
• Order diagnostic tests as appropriate; review results.
• Provide immunizations, women’s health services and TB screening.
• Phlebotomy and CLIA-waived testing as part of clinical care.
