Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Transplant Nurse Coordinator to act as the primary coordinator for deceased donor transplant activity and to oversee organ offers, logistics, and multidisciplinary communication during assigned call shifts.

Under supervision of transplant physicians, you will coordinate all phases of patient care, collaborate with the team, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Licensed RN in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for deceased donor transplant activity and manage donor organ offers, transplant logistics, and multidisciplinary communication during on-call shifts.
• Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team and ensure appropriate documentation, consent, and follow-up within departmental protocols.
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
