The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking an on-call CASUAL LABOR Transit Van Driver to operate 14-passenger or smaller vehicles in a safe, timely manner.

Responsibilities include transporting riders, assisting passengers with accessibility needs, completing electronic trip logs on a County-issued tablet, and maintaining vehicle safety checks. A valid Florida driver's license and clean record are required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience driving passenger vehicles in a professional setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Drives and operates a county vehicle following safety policies and laws.
• Uses County-issued tablet to access routes, manifests, schedules and updates.
• Loads/unloads and secures wheelchair; assists passengers with accessibility needs.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports issues.
• Completes electronic trip data, mileage, notes and incidents.
• Maintains professional communication with customers and dispatch.
• Adapts to changing routes and service demands under stress.
• Perform additional duties as required.
