Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience operating a bus or similar vehicle.
• Florida CDL Class B with Air Brakes and P endorsement; out-of-state CDLs accepted if Florida CDL obtained by hire date.
• Must pass Florida DOT medical exam and urine drug test; exams every two years; drug/alcohol testing per policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit coaches and transport passengers on fixed or flexible routes.
• Assist passengers, including wheelchair users; provide information and respond to inquiries.
• Perform safety inspections and complete daily inspection and passenger/trip reports.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report malfunctions.
