The Therapist I (On-Call) works with SUD Counselors and Supervisors to provide therapy, trauma‑informed care, and crisis intervention, with after-hours pager

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field.
• Registration (AMSW, AMFT, APCC) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Possession of valid California driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an individual therapy caseload in a residential setting.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and group therapy for co‑occurring disorders.
• Assist with intake, assessments, treatment planning, and referrals.
• Coordinate with prescribing psychiatrists on medication compliance and follow‑ups.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with the treatment team.
• Participate in case conferences, discharge planning, and clinical discussions.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed.
• Complete documentation, billing, and Medicare/ Medi‑Cal reports.
