Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist PRN to join the operating room team. You will assist surgeons, maintain sterile field, prep OR and instruments, and support sterile processing while staying within ORT scope.

This role requires BLS, completion of an ORT program (or recent non-accredited graduate), and the ability to take on-call shifts. Level II/III paths exist; certification within timelines is expected with preference for ortho/robotics/neuro/trauma

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program, or graduation from a non-accredited program within six months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam).
• Two years scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three years.
• Able to take assigned call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and safety throughout procedures.
• Prepare operating room and instruments for procedures.
• Assist surgeon(s) during procedures within ORT scope.
• Support sterile processing and room turnover after procedures.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment and action.
