Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking Surgical Technologists to support the operating room team in Denver, CO. The role reports to Surgical Services management and participates in system-wide surgical operations and safety initiatives.

On-call shifts including weekends are required, with a 4x10 schedule. Qualified candidates will have a Colorado Surgical Technologist registration, an accredited ORT program (or equivalent), and be able to meet Level II/III requirements as applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT).
• Two years of scrub tech experience in hospital or military surgical services within the last three years.
• On-the-job training in a rural hospital is acceptable.
• State registration as Surgical Technologist in Colorado is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operative procedures as a member of the surgical team under supervision.
• Support system-wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices.
• Participate in the surgical operations safety plan.
