Qualifications

• Ability to complete 15 hours of mandatory ST education annually.
• Knowledge of Heart Lung Machine and cardiovascular systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instrumentation and sterile field needs for procedures and assist the surgeon.
• Prepare the surgical field/back table and set up instruments per case and surgeon preference.
• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures and maintain correct surgical counts.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure safe patient care in the OR environment.
• Clean and prepare rooms between cases and assist with turnover of equipment.
