Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist responsible for handling instruments and equipment across Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Transplant procedures under RN/Physician supervision. You will maintain the sterile field and support the surgical team throughout complex operations.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, preparing instruments, and transferring patients between units as needed; requires one year OR training and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology

Qualifications

• One year operating room training or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS and Surgical Technologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during surgical procedures; transports and transfers patients as needed.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
