Qualifications

• Military training in surgical tech or UKHC internal transfer with current role in OR.

Responsibilities

• Pass surgical instruments in the operating room.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with case counts.
• Set up and maintain sterile field until patient exits the room.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and anticipate needs.
• Monitor sterile technique and correct breaks when identified.
