Responsibilities

• Prepares for and provides age-specific surgical care under supervision
• Performs intraoperative care and supports the surgical team
• Adheres to aseptic technique and infection control procedures
• Counts sponges, sharps, and instruments according to policy
• Assists with patient positioning, readiness of supplies, and transportation
• Maintains a clean, safe surgical environment and proper room turnover
