Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Surgical Tech-OR for full-time, second shift in the Operating Room. The role supports the perioperative plan of care, performing scrub functions and ensuring aseptic technique.

You will participate in unit activities, promote positive patient interactions, and rotate on-call weekends, weeknights, and holidays. Requires BLS certification and Surgical Technology education.

Qualifications

• Performs scrub functions to support the perioperative plan of care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing.
• Active participation in unit activities and positive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the surgical team under RN supervision.
• Performs scrub duties and assists with operative procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique including gowning, gloving, sterilization and disinfection.
