Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a Relief Manager to oversee the assigned store area in the absence of senior leadership.

You will ensure sales and profitability targets are met while controlling costs and losses, and you will supervise front-end operations and staff. The role requires strong customer service, inventory, and loss-prevention skills, with a focus on policy compliance and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Food handling license.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains proper and efficient service of customers.
• Directly assists in all Front-End operations and ensures opening/closing procedures are followed.
• Approve checks, process money orders and Western Union, reconcile tills and safe.
• Conduct floor checks and ensure shelves are stocked and merchandised correctly.
• May train, develop and supervise employees.
• Ensure compliance with policies and government regs; control expenses and prevent losses.
• Maintain communication between associates, management and retail support staff.
