Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking an Assistant Store Director to lead the Grocery Department under the Store Director, and to assist in all aspects of store operations. In the absence of the Store Director, you will assume these responsibilities.

The role focuses on supervising department managers, ensuring customer service standards, and enforcing company policies while fostering community partnerships and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Food handling license.
• First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification.
• Forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop and train department managers.
• Approve documents related to store operations in the absence of the Store Director.
• Ensure customers receive proper and efficient service.
• Foster community relationships and collaborate with partners.
• Ensure store activities comply with regulations.
• Assist in reviewing and controlling store expenses.
• Maintain good communication among staff and management.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and associates.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for customers and associates.
• Implement loss prevention measures.
• Oversee liquor department operations including ordering and pricing.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
