Job summary

Sodexo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL is seeking a Steward to support back-of-house sanitation and cleanliness across catering and event operations. This on-call, part-time role has varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

You will work under the Steward Supervisor to maintain safe food service areas, handle waste and warewashing, and assist with equipment storage and general upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior stewarding, sanitation, or food service support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open/close sanitation procedures for food areas.
• Organize and store equipment, supplies, and service wares.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease per procedures.
• Maintain floors, drains and work surfaces for cleanliness and safety.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties as assigned per unit needs.
