Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Steward to support kitchen sanitation and back-of-house operations at the Tanglewood Music Festival. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with warewashing, equipment care, and service prep in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.

This on-call, part-time role offers mornings and afternoons/evenings with some weekends and holidays, a pay range of $18–$22 per hour, and benefits including training and potential advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in stewarding, sanitation, or food service support roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas.
• Assist with organization and proper storage of equipment, supplies, and service ware.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease removal in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain floors, drains, and work surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
