Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Steward to support back-of-house food service operations with cleanliness and sanitation. The role involves maintaining equipment, service ware, and work areas to ensure a ready kitchen for events and daily service.

Under supervision, you will assist with sanitation, waste handling, and daily housekeeping tasks across various units, with flexibility for shifts and locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous stewarding, sanitation, or food service support roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas.
• Organize and store equipment, supplies, and service ware properly.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease removal per procedures.
• Maintain floors, drains, and work surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds and occasional 40 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on unit size and client needs.
