Rivers Casino is seeking a friendly, high-energy Guest Service Associate to welcome guests at tables, take food and beverage orders, answer questions about the menu, check IDs for alcohol service, monitor consumption, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One or more years high volume food service experience required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage order processing systems.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests at the table.
• Takes food and beverage order.
• Responds to guest questions regarding food preparation and menu.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption.
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Serves food and beverages.
• Directs bus person and assists as needed in the clearing of tables.
• Completes required side work.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
