Job summary

Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking friendly beverage service staff to provide efficient, courteous, and professional service to casino guests. You will take drink orders, serve cocktails, clear tables, and maintain a clean station while working in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be able to work diverse shifts, lift up to 20 pounds, and communicate effectively with guests and teammates. Prior experience is helpful, and licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds at one time.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, stoop, and twist while serving cocktails.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high standard of service.
• Must be neat, in proper uniform, and able to obtain/maintain licensing.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders, present drinks to customers, clear tables and serve food.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and perform side duties as assigned.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to all guests and handle complaints professionally.
• Ensure knowledge of menu items, specials, and prices across shifts.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth guest experiences.
