Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with restaurant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year server and public relations experience preferred.
CA Food Handlers Certificate
Alcohol Awareness Certificate
POS system preferred.
Basic knowledge of math and English.

Responsibilities

Coordinate assigned station from Manager at start of work shift.
Greet guests and present menus, making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverages, specials, and service.
Knowledge of menu content, ingredients, options, methods of preparation, and special request availability.
Assure prompt service of food and beverage items.
Assure guest orders are prepared properly and promptly.
Maintain stock of workstation and bussing duties as necessary.
Communicate with wait staff and Manager-On-Duty to maintain service efficiency.
Work with Cooks, Bartender and serving staff.
Ensure clean-up of spills or hazards and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
