Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, including lettuce salad mixtures, meats, poultry, seafood, and other ingredients for further processing or cooking.
• Rotate food items according to FIFO (First In, First Out) standards to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Maintain proper storage of food items, ensuring that products are stored at correct temperatures and in proper containers.
• Ensure prep areas and storage facilities are cleaned regularly, maintaining a sanitary environment for food preparation.
• Work in cooperation with cooks and kitchen staff to assist with preparation and cooking of menu items.
• Exhibit the ability to keep up with peak period demands and prepare ingredients ahead of time for service.
