Job summary

Mineral County, NV is seeking an on-call Senior Center Helper to provide relief across custodial, kitchen support, meal delivery, transportation, and administrative tasks as needed. You will work under the Cook and/or Senior Services Director and must comply with ADSD, USDA, health department, and NDOT regulations.

The position carries no guaranteed hours and requires flexibility to fill staffing gaps across various shifts and duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in custodial, food service, driving, or administrative roles preferred.
• Familiarity with the needs of elderly populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; dust surfaces; sanitize restrooms and restock supplies.
• Assist with daily meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanup; stock food supplies.
• Prepare and package meals for delivery; load, transport, and deliver meals on a fixed route.
