Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a FLEX/ ON-Call Security and Emergency Services Officer to patrol facilities, support gatehouse staffing, and handle non-emergency calls under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in security preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate professional interactions with residents, staff and visitors.
• Ability to document daily activities clearly and concisely.
• On-call schedule flexibility; hours may vary.
• Night, weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive non-emergency service calls and respond timely and appropriately.
• Respond and assist in community emergencies including fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials, bomb threats, and evacuations.
• Create a positive first impression of the community.
• Screen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Document all visitors and vendors/contractors and provide parking passes and maps.
