Job summary

Saginaw Township Schools is seeking a kitchen support aide to assist with food preparation, meal service, and general kitchen duties within STCS Nutrition Services. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff and parents.
• Punctual with excellent attendance.
• Good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Health Department Regulations for food safety.
• Must pass agility testing and basic physical.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Ability to push/pull loaded carts.
• Willing to work in any STCS Nutrition Services school.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or operate all kitchen equipment as needed.
• Assist with food preparation when assigned.
• Serve during lunch periods.
• Complete general kitchen duties: prep, service, cleanup, washing pots and dishes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
