Saginaw Township Community Schools seeks a Kitchen Helper/Cashier at Arrowwood Elementary School in Saginaw Township. This part-time position runs 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday when school is in session (August–May), with immediate availability. Pay is $14.26–$16.35 per hour.

COMPENSATION: $14.26- $16.35 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or GED
• ServSafe Certification Preferred or must be willing to acquire certification after hire.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all employees, students and parents.
• Familiar with and/or capable of learning cash register operations point of sale system.
• Punctual and excellent attendance record
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, quickly and accurately under tight time constraints
• Knowledge of Health Department Regulations for safe food handling and sanitation
• Knowledge of School Food Service Basics preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, ability to push on a regular basis, ability to push and/or pull loaded carts and stand for long periods of time without accommodations.
• Pre-placement physical screening to include agility will be required at the expense of the employer for new hires.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
