Job summary

Havre Public Schools Education Foundation on-call Food Service Assistant position to support the preparation and serving of quality meals for students. The role is on-call as needed with a pay rate of $14.18 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with quantity food preparation, setting up and breaking down serving lines, and cashier duties including reports on lunch accounts. High school diploma or GED required; Safe Serve Training attainable after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with large-scale cooking and food preparation/serving.
• Ability to attain Safe Serve Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity food preparation.
• Set up/break down serving lines (salad bar, hot food, ala carte).
• Cashier; operate cash register and prepare reports regarding student lunch accounts.
• Count money, make change, complete related reports, and may bring money bags to the Robins Administration Offices.
• Assist with daily cleaning of kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
