• Training within 30 days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Clean the school facilities to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Arrange furnishings for meetings, activities, and events.
• Remove snow and de‑ice walkways and steps.
• Keep floors clean and well‑maintained.
• Raise the US flag at the start of each school day and lower it at day’s end.
• Perform daily checks of exit doors and panic bars during occupancy.
• Report damages to the principal and head custodian.
• Open/close building and secure doors and lights.
• Store and dispose of building site waste properly.
• Know products and equipment used for building care.
• Maintain hallways and exits free of obstruction during school.
