Job summary

CROOK COUNTY SD in Prineville, Oregon seeks a Substitute Cafeteria Attendant to assist in the operation of the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs. This on-call position requires flexibility for daily needs, with hours and location varying by assignment and school site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in Food Service, preferably School Food Service.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, current food handler's permit.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the site and food service area.
• Set up meal serving facilities each day and maintain sanitation standards.
• Cook and prepare food in large quantities and serve to students.
• Operate POS system and handle cash/meal deposits and records.
• Order and inventory supplies; assist in cleaning utensils and equipment.
