Job summary

Crescent Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to hospice patients and support to families. Schedule: Friday 4:30pm through Monday 8am, coverage in Orangeburg and surrounding counties.

The role requires a current RN license, BSN preferred, and at least one year of medical-surgical/acute care experience; hospice experience is a plus. Strong EMR skills and CPR certification are expected where state requires.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
Hold current unencumbered RN license.
Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting; hospice exp a plus.
Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

Provide Empathetic and Heartfelt Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care and ensuring regulatory standards.
Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families during the terminal illness journey.
