Job summary

Crescent Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to hospice patients and support to families. Schedule: Friday 4:30pm through Monday 8am, coverage in Orangeburg and surrounding counties.

The role requires a current RN license, BSN preferred, and at least one year of medical-surgical/acute care experience; hospice experience is a plus. Strong EMR skills and CPR certification are expected where state requires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting; hospice exp a plus.
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

• Be the Lifeline: Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine.
• Provide Empathetic and Heartfelt Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care and ensuring regulatory standards.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families during the terminal illness journey.

Crescent Hospice is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

SCHEDULE: Friday 430pm through Monday 8am

TERRITORY/AREA OF COVERAGE: Orangeburg and surrounding Counties

$78,000 - $83,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
