Job summary

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join as an On-Call RN, covering OKC/Norman/Hinton and surrounding communities on a 7-on/7-off schedule. You will provide after-hours nursing care, support hospice patients and families, and collaborate with a dedicated care team to uphold comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care focused on comfort and quality of life.
• Respond to patient and family needs during after-hours and weekends.
• Coordinate with physicians, hospice staff, and care teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, and end-of-life planning.
• Document care and changes in condition per Medicare requirements.
