Job summary

Deborah's Place in Chicago is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily operations, including log writing, food preparation, crisis intervention, and facilitating program activities. You will ensure safety and integrity of the program and collaborate with staff to support participant services.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure: Food Handling and Sanitation certification and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years of social service and/or residential program experience.
• Knowledge: homelessness, mental illness and chemical dependency; strong communication and crisis skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and ensure program safety and integrity.
• Mentor participants and facilitate groups and individual sessions.
• Maintain program and participant files with timely documentation.
• Respond to internal and external emails and coordinate with Residential Manager.
